Governing Documents
The primary purpose that Foxhall Community Association was created as a Washington Non-Profit Corporation, is so that the owners of all 122 lots in Foxhall (the members) can have an undivided common ownership of our common facilities, which specifically are seven miles of trails, two parks, a drainage pond, and the upper entry landscaping.
Foxhall's Governing Documents consist of it's Articles of Incorporation, Protective Covenants, and Bylaws. In the event of conflicts between the documents, they have a hierarchy or "ranking". The highest ranking document is the Protective Covenants, next comes the Articles of Incorporation, then the Bylaws, and lastly the rules and regulations.
The Articles of Incorporation of Foxhall Community Association, dated November 18, 1981, created the Non-Profit Corporation and are filed at the Secretary of State of the State of Washington. Click on the following link for the record copy:

The Bylaws of Foxhall Community Association were created November 17, 1981. This is not a recorded public document. A number of bylaw amendments have been approved by members over the years. Foxhall Trails Committee is a group of member volunteers who maintain and repair Foxhall Trails according to charter provided in the following link:
